Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh recounts her emotional journey from addiction and prolonged anger to spiritual healing as she testifies at Pastor Jerry Eze’s church, revealing how divine intervention transformed her life.
Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has stirred reactions online after a heartfelt testimony she delivered at Pastor Jerry Eze’s New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) church surfaced on social media.
In the viral video, the actress candidly opened up about years of personal struggles she kept hidden from the public eye. Speaking before the congregation, Tonto revealed that she started smoking at just 13 years old, following early exposure at home, and later battled alcohol addiction for decades. According to her, the addiction lasted for about 27 years, shaping many aspects of her life and choices.
Tonto admitted that she initially hesitated to share her testimony because of concerns about her public image and criticism, but said she felt compelled to speak after experiencing what she described as a genuine transformation.
She traced the turning point in her life to her attendance at the Ghana Prayer Conference, which she described as a moment of spiritual breakthrough after years of troubling dreams, inner battles, and what she called spiritual oppression.
The actress also spoke openly about her struggle with intense and uncontrollable anger, which she referred to as “demonic anger.” She explained that the anger negatively affected her relationships, decisions, and personal peace for years. However, she testified that through prayer and divine intervention, God removed the anger and replaced it with calmness and inner peace.
According to Tonto, the changes she experienced were not gradual but deeply spiritual, and she believes they were made possible solely by God’s intervention. She concluded her testimony by declaring that she is now free from smoking, alcohol, anger, and the emotional burdens that once controlled her life.
